Did anyone else out there think that this would be the outcome 5 weeks ago? The final showdown between the David’s really did lead you to believe that “Archie” had it in the bag. One reporter stood by his convictions and called it correctly.

In fact I called the exact order of elimination as soon as Brooke went home. It really makes me wonder if the show has some outside influence or if America is predictable as a whole.

Bottom line is I would go see David Cook before David Archiletta but they are both really good. If they play it right they may even both be successful. I don’t buy into this notion that American Idol doesn’t produce stars, I think that they simply give them immense opportunity. Opportunity that can easily be squandered and will fade fast if not utilized.
