Ron Paul is out of the Presidential race… wait what?

That is right yesterday Ron Paul dropped out of the race to be President of the United States of America.  Never fear though, “These past 17 months have been among the most exciting and eventful of my life” is just a small quote from his new website and Campaign for Liberty.

Ok so the guy wants to help make the world a better place and I respect that.  It is just that someone who still thinks they are in a race months after it is decided clearly doesn’t have a grasp on reality.  Here is a candidate that was never taken seriously in the entire campaign and he is still until yesterday running for the Republican nomination.  It is over Mr. Paul time to give up.

Let’s take a fond look at the misunderstood Ron Paul.  All he is wanting is to return our country back to its original form.  If only we had listened he would have taken away our income tax, reduced other taxes, and gotten our troops home.  In his estimation we were spending far to much money on useless things such as the Department of Education, NATO, and the UN.  If only we had been wise enough to listen we could have done away with most of the government and with it most of the spending.  In only 8 short years we could have every American back home and no military presence in any country.  We could have slowed trade and banded together around a barrel of burning wood to sing songs remembering how great it once was 8 years ago when we started getting more money to take home.  We could afford the $8.00/gallon gas and so we bought the biggest vehicles we could get and they were made in the USA.

The problem came when we drove and the roads didn’t get repaired because of no funding.  When people could steal willy nilly because the police budgets were cut.  Wildfires never cease because there simply isn’t funding.  We don’t care though because we got to take home more money until we all got laid off because there was no production at our facilities.  You see we were all high thanks to the drugs being legalized.

Ok so I took that a bit far… or did I?  I believe that the government spends too much, I also believe the nation isn’t going in a great direction right now.  Ultimately though I believe that the American way works and we will get through this too.
